Steampunk. We’ve all heard of it, or at least, most of us have. It’s found its way into countless areas of recent popular culture, from books, to television shows, and especially web series. Most people approach it from the campy, comedy, or curious angle, seeing it as something fun and quirky (many modern Steampunk authors not withstanding), but one developing web series is looking to change all that. The World of Steam, which recently launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund their first season, is looking to bring the internet a new kind of Steampunk series: one which will delve deep into the Steampunk universe, one story at a time.

The EA media briefing for EA 2014 was different to say the least, but aside from most of the normal fare they didn’t really show anything that you will see anytime soon. To start off, so I can save you a bunch of time, here’s a quick summary of the normal: there’s a whole new line up of sports this year which include Madden, PGA, FIFA, NHL, and UFC. So, now that’s all out of the way lets get to the other stuff.

You’re Never Weird on the Internet (Almost), is the perfect read for individuals not looking for a serious commitment when it comes to their books.It is a relaxing and enjoyable read.
The folks over at Cinesaurus created a fun song and video in support of NASA and everything they are doing from here on Earth all the way to Mars. The video “Cool Things To Find” is about the discoveries NASA can make but are in jeopardy due to the government cutting their budget.
