Gerudo Valley Recreated in Unreal Engine 4

YouTube user CryZENx recreated Gerudo Valley from The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time in Unreal Engine 4 using ripped map assets from the 3ds version for reference and then recreated everything from scratch! I really like the sense of heat you get from this video. He’s done some other great retro game recreations over on his YouTube channel. What other games would you like to see get this treatment?

Star Fox Anime Released Alongside Star Fox Zero

While the game isn’t all that great for the modern age, our love for past incarnations leaves us wanting something good from the franchise to chew on. Along with the release of Star Fox Zero we get treated to a wonderfully animated short called Star Fox Zero – The Battle Begins created by the team of Production I.G. PinSim Brings Physical Pinball Experience To VR

With the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive now out on the market, people are starting to see what VR can offer. One of the coolest experiences is to be able to experience fantasy pinball tables inside of VR. Normally pinball tables could cost thousands of dollars but Pinball FX 2 VR allows an Oculus Rift owner the opportunity to play pinball for much cheaper. The experience, while rad, still doesn’t fully stack up to the traditional experience. That’s where Jeremy Williams of and his PinSim comes in.

Players take turns being Class Captain, setting the scene and controlling any NPCs while the other players narrate the actions of their kittens. When your laser goes off, you never know if it will do something amazing or backfire terribly, creating kitten chaos. The fun is in seeing what happens!”
