In case you need a refresher, The Unicorn Files: Debunking the Myth of the Female Geek, launched over a year ago by geeky lady Terra Clarke Olsen and photographer Nate Watters. The two created a blog to highlight geeky women and help crush the concept of the “fake geek girl.”

Back in July 2014, I chatted with Terra for AGtM (interview HERE) and in August your’s truly was featured on The Unicorn Files blog.

I am a HUGE fan of The Unicorn Files and you should be too! Today – June 15 – The Unicorn Files launched a Kickstarter campaign in hopes of self-publishing a photo book showcasing the photos and stories of some kick-ass geeky ladies. Check out the campaign video below:

The Kickstarter campaign will be running for the next 29 days and offers a lot of rewards including a copy of the published book, invites to the book launching party, and portrait photo sessions. You can back the project for as little as a dollar, and as much as to $7,000.

So if you are into this idea – and you should be – please donate to The Unicorn Files: A Geek Girl Photo Book HERE! We will keep you posted on all things The Unicorn Files.
